Farmor’s Fat French Toast
Ingredients:

1 loaf French bread

6 eggs

1/3-cup milk
-
butter
-
maple syrup
To make:

Cut French bread into slices about 1 inch thick.

Crack eggs into a large bowl.

Add the milk to the eggs and beat until it is all the same color.

Dip bread slices into the egg mixture. Let the bread sit in the eggs
for a minute, making sure both sides of the bread are well covered by the
egg mixture.

Melt a little butter onto a medium hot griddle.

Cook French Toast on both sides until golden brown and puffed up.

Serve at once with real maple syrup, or keep warm in an oven until ready
to serve.in a 375-degree oven about 20 minutes.
Serves six hungry children!
