Golden Soft Pretzels

Ingredients:

To make: 
  1. Put a pot of water at least three inches deep on to boil.  Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.  Lightly oil a baking tray. 
  2. Cut the dough into 32 equal parts. 
  3. One at a time, roll or stretch each piece into a snake that is twelve inches long.  You can use a ruler. 
  4. Shape into traditional or alternative pretzel shapes and pinch ends together very tightly. 
  5. In batches, put the shapes into the boiling water for one minute then take them out with a slotted spoon then put them onto a baking tray. 
  6. Spray the pretzels on the tray with water to make them crispy and sprinkle with salt. 
  7. Bake for 8 minutes, then turn over, spray with more water and bake for  seven more minutes. 
  8. Let cool for a few minutes then serve with golden mustard! 
Makes 32 medium pretzels.
