| Jam Jewel Cookies
Ingredients:

3 sticks butter, softened

¾ cup honey

1-teaspoon vanilla

2/3 cup very finely ground almonds

1¾-cup whole-wheat pastry flour

1¾-cup all purpose flour

Raspberry jam
To make:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Cream together butter, honey and vanilla.

Stir in nuts and flour until the dough is evenly combined.

Refrigerate for one hour or overnight if time permits.

Roll out dough ¼ inch thick and cut with cookie cutters.
(We made moons and stars.) Make a small dent in each cookie and op
with a small dollop of jam.

Bake on oiled cookie sheets for 7-12 minutes in a 325 degree
oven.
