Little Leavened Loaves
(we made these loaves for the Harvest Festival)
ingredients:

1 1/2 sticks of butter

6 cups milk
-
2 tbsp yeast
-
1 cup honey
-
2 tbsp sunflower seeds (raw)

2 tbsp oats
-
1/2 cup millet (ground)

1 2 cup flour (6 cups organic white bread flour & 6 cups whole
wheat
-
bread flour)

2 tbsp salt
to make:

Prepare yeast - put 1 tsp honey in small bowl with warm water. Sprinkle
yeast on top and let it rise.

Chop butter into pieces in large bowl.

Add warm milk and stir until butter melts.

Add honey.

Add yeast and stir.
-
Add all the flour (sifted) and stir.

Knead until elastic.

Form into little shapes of your choice.

Let the loaves rise about 1/2 hour.
Bake at 350'F until they sound hollow when thumped.
