Practically Perfect Pancakes 

ingredients: 

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour 
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder 
  • 3 eggs 
  • 3 or 4 cups milk 
  • 2 tablespoons blackstrap 
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil 
how to make it: 
  • Mix dry ingredients. 
  • Mix wet ingredients. 
  • Combine all ingredients. 
  • Pour 1/4 - 1/3 cup batter into a lightly greased, hot pan for each pancake. 
  • Cook till golden brown, turning to cook other side when pancakes have a bubbly surface and slightly dry edges.
