Cuckolds Light
by: Sienna

My lighthouse is named Cuckolds Light. It is near Southport, Maine. This is when my lighthouse was built: 1907. My lighthouse is made out of bricks. This is how tall my lighthouse is … 48 feet. My lighthouse has two white flashes every six seconds for its light signal. There is one blast every 15 seconds for the fog signal.

This is what makes my lighthouse special. I like that the keepers got silver watches. They got silver watches because they saved the crew on the ship named Aurora.

This will tell you how I would take care of my lighthouse. I would be happy to take care of the lighthouse by polishing the lights. I would climb the stairs to trim the wicks and fill the lights with oil and light the lamps. In the morning I would clean the lamps. I would be happy to live in a lighthouse because I would clean everywhere in the lighthouse. If I had children I would take care of my children. I would make breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
