Sports Boosters

GVHS sports boosters is a group of parents that volunteer their time to support the athletic program at GVHS.

We raise money by selling food and sports-related items at the soccer and basketball concession stands. For example; in the last 2-3 years we have bought new mats for the wall in the gym, paid for the pirate painting in the center of the gym, upgraded the soccer concession stand, paid for referees for the summer sports program, assisted in paying for uniforms for the different sports teams, assisted in paying for camps, assisted in paying for the new soccer kick board. Another exciting item going on right now is that the sports boosters group is paying for a new concession in the gym lobby just in time for basketball season plus other sports-related items.

Vice President - Caroline Woodman

Treasurer - Mae Worcester

Secretary - Aimee Sanfilppo

Meetings

The Sports Boosters usually meet once a month. To be involved you do not need to attend every meeting. Maybe you could work at the concession at a game. If you have any questions, contact any of the above individuals, come to a meeting, or stop and visit at the next game. We encourage all parent involvement.

Next Meeting

The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 13th at 6:00 at GVHS (room to be announced). We want to take this time to invite all of you to attend, BOTH PARENTS AND STUDENTS.
