Looking Out My Window
By The Second Grade
The second grade students learned how
to draw human faces, they practiced by drawing each other and also by drawing
themselves. Once they learned where the parts of the face are located they
were able to create a self portrait that appears to be looking out a window.
The students traced their hands and then drew themselves, we discussed
why the hands are so big compared to the body and the students realized
that the hands are closer to the viewer then the body.
