Willam thon was a famous artist who spend a great deal of his life living and painting in port clyde maine. willam thon enjoyed painting maine seascapes, and maine woods. The fourth grade students learned about willam thon and his paintings. When willam thon died he left a piece of his art work to the schools located on the coast of maine. this piece will be on display in the library at the lura libby school!
