Part 2 The Invention
Baird invented the TV. He invented it in a two-room attic. It was used to self educate yourself at home through news and current affairs. Baird’s invention was planned. It was a life long dream.  It took from when he graduated from collage to almost when he died. The TV used a 16-line scanning disc camera and receiver with a neon tube as a light source. He did not have help. He could not patent his idea because it used an already patented Nipkow disc. He was rich in ideas. He sold 10,000 television sets by 1932. Baird Television Company made the first television show.
