Milton Bradley was born November 8, 1836 in Vienna, Maine.  He was a white male.   His father was a minister.
When Bradley was young he played with board games even though some religions thought it was bad.
Bradley graduated from high school, then he went to the Lawrence scientific school.  Bradley then ran out of money and left. Then he chose a career in printing and lithography.
He had two daughters and a wife.
Milton Bradley invented board games.  His games were made in his home in 1860.  He used his printing press to make his game boards. His first game was the "Checkered Game of Life."
His company made the games "Chutes and Ladders," "Candy Land, "Twister," "Yahtzee," and "Scrabble."    In one year his company sold 45,000 copies of "Monopoly."   All his games had trademarks. The games made him rich and famous.
        Bradley died in 1911.
