| Speech Language pathology services are provided by the school system to service children who have difficulty producing sounds for speech, who have difficulty discriminating sounds needed for reading and spelling skills, and students who have difficulty with receptive language (understanding language) and expressive language (verbal output). In addition, augmentative communication systems for severely disabled children are utilized for learning and overseen by the speech language pathologist. |  |
