The Thomaston Fire Department visited our school to talk about fire safety.  They brought a special guest with them.  Elmo helped the children learn rules for fire prevention and what to do in case of a fire.  We all learned to Stop! Drop! Roll!  We also practiced how to stay low when leaving a room filled with smoke.  We even got a chance to go in the fire engine!  That was exciting!  Everyone learned a lot from Elmo and the firemen who came.  Thanks to the Thomaston Fire Department and Elmo!
