Students had the opportunity to visit Old Fort Western, in Augusta. They participated in many activities that children would have done back in the "olden" days. They chopped wood, carded wool, lugged water, helped prepare a snack. They also went to Dame school. Children praticed penmanship, sewing, and ciphering.
