Persuasive Essay

Have you ever been tramping through the woods? I bet you have seen a lot of things that catch your attention, For example, a gigantic rock with a cave or something in it. Well I have an area just like one of those areas; it is an extremely huge, blown over tree with its roots hanging high in the air. I like the way it is just about in the water, but people can still go to have fun, for instance climbing and be almost completely dry when they get back home. As a sixth grade student I would like to have the area be on the “new St. George Nature Trail.”

My tree is the perfect picnic spot. I’ll bet that all of you love picnics. The ground around my tree is pretty much flat but has a few hills and bumps. There is one thing bad about my spot though… people can trip and fall into the water and get mighty soggy. But we could put up signs or things to warn people not to run or horse around near the water.

Another reason my spot is perfect is that it is an awesome bench area, And is good for a kayaking launch ramp. I have always had trouble launching my kayak from difficult places. Of course I live right next to the water, but I live next to a big boulder area of the water bank.

Even though people are able to trip and fall into the water, my landscape is an awesome, beautiful grassy, nice, and awesome area right next to the Saint George Marsh and would be a perfect place for rest and relaxation. For example someone has just come out of their last period class and had a huge essay. They could go to my spot and just sit and clear their mind.

In conclusion, my spot is a good sitting, fishing, kayaking, and a just plain cool area. So I beg you please let my spot be on our new Saint George Nature Trail.

Sincerely,

Aaron
