Mini Marsh

 Dear St. George Community,

Do you know there is an over grown nature trail behind the St. George School? I would clearly like to state that I wantt to have this mini marsh be a part of this to be St. George nature trail. I’m interested in this spot because it’s a piece of original nature that connected itself to the marsh. So it has a small stream from this small puddle to the huge marsh.

First of all I chose this spot because it’s a quiet place to be. You can sit and relax, go bird watching or you can learn! For example bring a friend or two learn about nature, have some fun. I would also like to have a bridge near the marshy area. I want a bridge because you need to be able to get over the water or else you will fall in this small puddle.

Secondly I would like to have this bridge because you can walk over the bridge and there could be the trail. The trail would go around like a circle so you can see more than you would if you just stood right next to it. So any ways you would be able to walk right over the water and maybe there might be something in the water that the kids might be interested in.

After all this planning there are a few things that could happen. After it rains the bridge will be slippery. The people would slip and fall. We want this trail to be as safe as possible for kids and adults. Then again at any time someone could fall and get hurt maybe even worst then could if they fell on the bridge.

I would also like to have signs all the way down the trail so that we know were we are going. One sign will say to the marsh or something like that. For going to the mini marsh it would say to another generation. When you go to the mini marsh there will be a question saying, What would happen if some parts of the woods became water and connected itself to the actual marsh?

There for all of the above would be wonderful for the nature trail. If it’s too hard to have everything that is above then just having the St. George nature trail go by the mini marsh and maybe even the bridge would be wonderful!

Sincerely,

Amelia
