Nature Trail Index

The St. George school is rebuilding the nature trail behind the school! We have already went through the old nature trail seeing what we need to do to basically to improve the old trail. We already have a map of the area and a idea of what we need!
This tree below is the spot I chose to be on the new trail. I picked this spot because these trees are twirling up each other like they're almost hugging. The reason I think this spot should be on the trail is because it's interesting, and it's showing the force of nature! What I mean is if a small tree is trying to grows, and another gets in its way it moves around the obstacle, and grow! This Nature Trail is going to have beautiful scenery, trees, wildlife education also teaching about nature. There are different places where students have chosen to add a tree they liked or a certain place that is peaceful and relaxing! Since we didn't know how to make a whole new nature trail we went to Tanglewood Youth Forestry Camp to learn how to, check for good landscaping, for trees to grow and other plants. We also learned how to read a compass for navigation!
There were games that showed us important facts about different trees. Like a game called Each One Teach One, its a game where you learn about a type of tree or plant then you teach someone else about it! Then we went on a night walk which was sort of scary, like when our camp councilor set each person ten feet apart! Now that was scary! Well we had a great time there, especially the talent show!
Now we have a plan about what to do for the nature trail, and what we need for tools. Now all we have to do is get started!!!!!!!
Thanks for checking out my web page I hope you liked it.
