Dear Grace Institute,
Does
life ever get so hectic you just want to go outdoors where there’s fresh air
and nature? Well, your field along the St. George marsh is a perfect spot for
just that! This field would be used for benches and a place where people can
relax. That’s only one reason I think you should let us use your field.
What
do you think of when you think of a trail? Probably not a cleared out field,
right? I think our trail needs variety. A cleared out area would be perfect for
benches and people to sit, relax, and watch fish, birds, beavers, and eagles.
For instance, I’ve seen an eagle and other birds all at once when I’ve been out
there.
Furthermore,
people can come to this spot where it’s dry and they know they won’t get hurt.
This one little spot can relieve so much stress and calm you down within
seconds. For example, as soon as I get out there I take a deep breath and am
relaxed instantly. I love it down there myself!
I
know what you’re thinking; have kids running around constantly? But that’s not
it at all! This property will be going to excellent use by letting the school
use it as an outdoor classroom, letting the community learn about it’s
surroundings, and just to go out and take a walk!
Consequently, this field would let
people look at nature, let people learn about nature, and give people a place
to go and relax. In the future generations more children will be using this
trail; we want them to have as many opportunities and accessible points as we
do!
Thank
you for listening to my opinion and acknowledging my idea. I hope you let us
use your field!
Sincerely,
Leah
