St. George School Outdoor Learning Center

The 6th graders  are rebuilding the nature trail behind the St. George school  because it's been there for a long time,   It is in bad shape. We want to repair it so the community and other people can enjoy it.
Tanglewood

ON OCTOBER 13-15 2004 What we did and when. The 6th grade and the Alternative Education students from St. George School  went to Tanglewood Youth Forestry Camp in Lincolnville, Maine.  We went there to learn more on how to do land management because we are rebuilding the nature trail out behind our school. There we played games and we did other stuff.
We played a cool compass game, we got to play basketball sometimes during break time. We also got to play soccer and stuff. We got to pace also and we learned how to tell hardwood from softwood . One night we went on a night walk and saw a cool glow bug that looked like a worm with legs.
