Dear
St. George Community,
Do
you remember a time when you were outside and you wanted something you
thought was awesome for people to see? We’ll were in the same situation
here at the St. George school and I would like our classes special spot
to be on the St. George Nature Trail. I suggest you should put my boulder
spot on the trail because though many people want their spot on the trail
I think our spot is very beautiful and is filled with color. My rock has
a nice smooth slope with a little edge sticking out of the side. You can
sit on the edge of the rock while watching the beautiful scenery in front
of you. On the slope there is also a big bright green spot of moss growing
on one side. On the top there is a flat edge where you can dangle your
feet in front of you while seeing the marsh also in front of you. At the
top of the rock the ground is exactly level with the ground.
For
example, if you listen very hard and you are really quiet you can here
chirping birds, grasshoppers jumping, and the marsh swaying back and forth.
You also see Canadian geese, seagulls, and bluebirds flying over the marsh
in front of you. This place can show you nature while having a great view.
Secondly,
our boulder could give you a great spot to sit in the summer. For example,
if you’re really flustered over something or really angry at someone this
would be a good place to come out and take a break for a few minutes. This
place can make you relax in seconds just by looking over the marsh, watching
birds fly around while making beautiful chippering noises.
However
our spot could be a little dangerous in the winter because it may be slippery
and there is a really steep slope on the rock. But I believe though that
we could trust people if we put up a sign that said, “WARNING rock may
become ahazard after snow storm
or blizzard”. I think this may prevent the problem. This is why I would
be honored for you to include our gigantic beautiful bolder in the St.
George Nature Trail.
In
conclusion, I say our spot is filled with lots of nature, a good place
to sit, and has a breath-taking location. I need YOUR help for our spot
to be included in the trail, I hope you’ll let our boulder be included
in the St. George Nature Trail!!! JJJ
Sincerely,
