Undelete
Whatever you may have deleted in First Class, message, mail list, folder, etc., you probably can undelete it if you do so soon enough. First Class completely removes items 30 days after deletion.
There are two basic methods of undeleting items.
Without the Trashcan
- Go to the location of the deleted item (Mail Box, Folder, Contacts List, Calendar, etc.)
- From the View menu choose
- Depending on how many items you have deleted wthin the last 30 days, you may have to wait awhile.
- Find the item you deleted (it should have a small picture of a trash can by it)
- Right-click (Control+Click) on it to open the menu
- Choose
- When you are done undeleting items, go to the View menu and choose
With the Trashcan
The following method has the advantage of not having choose "Hide Deleted Items" when done and the disadvantage of maybe having difficulty finding the item you've undeleted after you are done since you are not working in the original location.
- Open your Trashcan from your First Class Desktop
- Choose the item you wish to undelete
- Click on Undelete
