Double-sided Printing
Question
How do I make the printer print my document on both sides of the paper?
Answer
This feature is available on some of our Phasers, it is not available on all printers. It is also not available in every application on the Mac, but is in MS Word and Excel.
When your document is ready, choose Print from the File menu. Under the "Presets" option, choose the dropdown list that at first says "Copies & Pages". Choose "Layout" from the menu as shown in the picture below.
If the words "Two-Sided:" is grayed out, with the dropdown list unavailable (as below), the printer you have chosen does not offer double-sided printing.
If you have other printers available to you, you may select different ones until you find one that has "Two-sided" available. Then you may choose "Long-edge binding" for portrait-printed pages you want bound on the side or landscape-printed pages you want bound on the top. Or you would choose "Short-edge binding" for Landscape pages you want bound on the side or portrait-printed pages you want bound on the top.
After you have made your choices, you can choose print.
