CHINA PROJECTS

We spent the month of January studying China. In the end we all presented a project about the country. We all had a great time listening to different aspects of Chinese life, geography, history and food. We ended the unit with a big party!  We prepared and cooked Chinese food together. No shark fin soup! Eating with chop sticks is very difficult. Below are a few of our projects.
Ovaln and his papier mache pagoda. He also talked about the religions of China. Ovalnia with her model of the Great Wall of China. She told us about why it was build and how long it took to build. Did you know you can see it from outerspace?
Ovalina with her poster on the geography of China. It is located in Asia and has the largest population in the world. Ovalth made a dragon that is used  to celebrate the Chinese New Year. There are 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac. We were born in the year of the boar.
